Summer Intensive: Musical Improv

Five evenings in a row of Musical Improv fun times!

About this Event

Study Musical Improv in-depth 5 evenings in a row with the same teacher and group. Just like our courses but jam-packed into one week! This intensive runs every evening from Monday 3rd August to Friday 7th August, 7 pm-9.30 pm.

Five evenings in a row of improvising musicals with two of the most experienced teachers on the improv scene, Heather Urquhart & Joe Samuel. You will have an opportunity to connect with people around the world and share community and laughter through Musical improvisation games and scenes.

During this online intensive, you’ll be introduced to the core skills of melody and lyrics, rhyming and choruses, leading to the ability to create songs on any topic right there. In a supportive and nurturing environment, you’ll see how to fit songs into scenes and perform with flair and commitment.

Please note this class will involve some solo singing.

This is an intermediate class and some experience of musical improvisation is encouraged, however, if you’ve any questions feel free to contact us at classes@thenurserytheatre.com
