Liz trained as an actress at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts before studying improvisation at iO Chicago, and with practitioners from many other improv schools and styles. She performs and teaches improv around the world, playing with The Maydays and Bumper Blyton as well as guesting in productions.
Liz has had an extensive career on stage and screen and was nominated Best Female Performer Award at Brighton Fringe for Toybox, a musical comedy she wrote and produced. She is the creator and host of Unplanned Cabaret, makes live albums with The Concept and is part of European improv collective, Ohana.
In addition to performing, Liz is a host, speaker and a certified Embodied Facilitator. She coaches professional women on public speaking and presence, and her book, ‘Own It! How to boss your fears, free your voice and inspire the room’, is available in print and audiobook. She also shares tips on her YouTube channel ‘Bonafide Human Club’.
As a Maydays improv facilitator, Liz is enhanced DBS checked, holds a QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and mental health first aid.
